Fees & Sessions
Payment
Fees are payable for the place and not the attendance and must be paid one month in advance. Payments can be made by cheque or standing order and must be received on the 3rd of every month. Please refer to the terms and conditions. Our preferred method of payment is BAC’s.
You are required to give the nursery 1 calendar month’s notice in writing if there is a reduction in the number of sessions you require.
Government Funded Places for children from the term after they are 9 months
All settings registered to accept government funding can offer funded places for eligible children and families, from the term after a baby turns 9 months. At Tiny Tots these places will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis in line with our eligibility criteria. Please speak to Janine or Mikaela if you are interested in finding out more.

15-Hour Universal Entitlement
-
15 hours per week, funded by Cornwall Council, for 38 weeks per year.
-
Any hours above the funded 15 hours are charged at our standard hourly rate as private payable hours.
-
Tiny Tots Ltd is not a term-time only setting – we operate 50 weeks of the year and are closed for 2 weeks, which are free from nursery fees during this period only.
-
Families accessing the 15-hour offer will therefore have 12 non-funded payable weeks each year, ensuring their child’s place is secured for the full 50-week programme.
-
Children must attend for a minimum of 3 hours per day on any day they are booked to attend to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
-
Funding eligibility begins the term after your child turns 9 months old, in line with the national expansion of the early years entitlement.
30-Hour Extended Entitlement (Stretched Offer)
-
Tiny Tots Ltd offers one 30-hour funding model only.
Families who are eligible for the government’s 30-hour funding will use their entitlement as a stretched offer across the full year if they meet our nursery criteria. -
This means your child will receive 22 funded hours per week, stretching their funding entitlement over 50 weeks per year, instead of 30 hours over 38 weeks.
-
To meet our full-day structure, 6.5 hours per week are private payable hours, charged at our standard hourly rate.
-
A minimum of 3 full days per week attendance applies to this offer/ or a minimum of 28.5 hours over the week.
-
Tiny Tots Ltd offers a maximum of 10 extended-entitlement (30-hour) places per room.
-
If a 30-hour place is unavailable, eligible children will be added to a waiting list and offered the next available space.
-
This stretched model allows your child to attend all year round, supporting routine, security, and continuity of early education.
Government Funding Code and Eligibility Checks
If you are eligible for the funding you will receive a code. This will be sent via a secure message to your gateway account. You will need to send the code to the office so we can validate it. To find out more about the funding offer from the Government - please follow the following links:
